Therapeutic class

Primary treatment and re-treatment of tuberculosis and for prophylaxis in cases of inactive tuberculosis or largetuberculin-positive reaction. Ethambutol should only be used in conjunction with other anti-tuberculous drugs to which the patients organisms are susceptible.
